Stunning visuals featuring red lanterns, animated golden dragons, lucky coins cascading with every win, and vibrant celebratory music all come together in one unforgettable gaming package.
What sets Gong Xi Fa Cai apart from the dozens of other slots on f900 is its RTP of 97.1% — a figure rarely seen among festive-themed slot titles. In practical terms, for every RM 100 wagered over time, players can expect an average return of RM 97.10. Combined with a progressive jackpot that keeps growing to eye-catching values, Gong Xi Fa Cai is a slot that offers genuine value to savvy Malaysian players.
A 5×3 reel format with 88 active paylines — the number 8 chosen specifically for its symbolism of luck and prosperity in Chinese culture — delivers a noticeably higher win frequency than most medium-volatility slots. f900 players who spin Gong Xi Fa Cai regularly report that the game produces small to mid-sized wins frequently enough to keep things engaging, while still holding back bigger surprises through its bonus features and progressive jackpot.
At f900, Gong Xi Fa Cai has become especially popular during the Chinese New Year season in Malaysia. That said, players from all walks of life — Malay, Chinese, Indian and beyond — enjoy this game year-round, drawn in by its entertaining gameplay and reliable winning potential. This proves that Gong Xi Fa Cai's festive theme isn't just for one season; it's quality entertainment that transcends cultural boundaries.

Every symbol carries its own meaning — get to know them to maximise your winnings at f900
The gold coin is Gong Xi Fa Cai's most valuable symbol. Landing five gold coins on an active payline can pay out up to ×500 your bet. At f900, all gold coin payouts are doubled during active free spins — making it one of the most thrilling moments the game has to offer.
The red envelope is the Scatter symbol that triggers various bonuses when three or more appear anywhere on the reels. Beyond activating free spins, three red envelopes also award an instant payout based on your bet amount — a "direct gift" that's a firm favourite among f900 players.
The Golden Dragon is the Wild symbol that substitutes for all regular symbols except the Scatter. What makes it special at f900 is that when two or more Golden Dragons appear in the same winning combination, the payout value is automatically boosted by a special multiplier — the Wild Stack, which appears exclusively on reels 2 and 4.
The Red Lantern is a special symbol that, when it fills both the first and fifth reels simultaneously during an active session, triggers a progressive jackpot draw. This is how you win the Grand, Major, or Minor jackpot — accumulated from all Gong Xi Fa Cai players at f900 and its partner platforms worldwide.
Four progressive jackpot tiers that keep growing — every player has a chance to win any tier
Gong Xi Fa Cai's progressive jackpot is triggered at random by the RNG system — meaning every f900 player, regardless of their bet amount, has a chance to win any jackpot tier. That said, statistically speaking, higher bets do increase the frequency of triggering the jackpot round.
When the jackpot is triggered, players enter a special bonus screen displaying 12 red envelopes. Select them one by one until three matching symbols are revealed — the matching symbol determines which jackpot tier you've won. Every f900 player who reaches this jackpot screen is guaranteed to win at least the Mini jackpot, regardless of which symbols they collect.
More than just spins — rich bonus features keep every session full of surprises
Land three or more Angpau Scatter symbols to trigger 8 base free spins. During this mode, the Golden Dragon Wild appears more frequently and all gold coin payouts are doubled. Retriggering is possible when three or more Scatters land again while the free spins round is still active at f900.
The Golden Dragon Wild in Gong Xi Fa Cai can appear as a "stack" — two to three Wilds at once on a single reel. When this happens simultaneously on reels 2 and 4, nearly all 88 active paylines can form winning combinations in a single spin. This is the feature veteran f900 players look forward to the most.
The jackpot bonus round is triggered randomly and opens a red envelope selection screen. Every f900 player is guaranteed to win one of four jackpot tiers — Grand, Major, Minor, or Mini. The Grand jackpot has previously reached RM 250,000 and continues to grow over time.
Gong Xi Fa Cai features 88 paylines — a number chosen specifically for its significance of luck in Chinese culture — all of which are active on every spin at no extra cost. This means your chances of landing a win on any given spin are considerably higher than on slots with just 20 or 25 paylines. At f900, players will notice this difference from their very first spin.
When five or more lucky coin symbols land simultaneously on the reels — even if they don't appear on the same active payline — a coin shower animation is triggered. This awards an instant bonus payout directly to your f900 account balance based on the number of coins that appeared. The more coins land, the bigger your immediate reward.
During free spins, each retrigger applies a special multiplier to all payouts — starting at ×2 on the first retrigger, rising to ×3 on the second, and continuing up to a maximum of ×5. f900 players who manage to reach the ×5 multiplier during free spins can expect some truly substantial wins.

Gong Xi Fa Cai is a medium-volatility slot with an RTP of 97.1% — a highly appealing combination for players who want to play longer while chasing the progressive jackpot. Unlike high-volatility slots that demand extra patience, Gong Xi Fa Cai delivers reasonably frequent and consistent wins, making it a more bankroll-friendly choice for most f900 players.
A popular strategy among regular f900 players is to bet at higher stake levels during a session to increase the likelihood of triggering the progressive jackpot round. While the jackpot can be triggered at minimum bet, statistics suggest it fires more frequently at stakes of RM 2.00 and above. That said, this should always be adjusted to suit your own playing budget.
Use the Auto-Spin feature with a loss limit setting to manage your bankroll more efficiently while playing Gong Xi Fa Cai. Set your desired number of spins — for example, 100 spins — with a loss limit of RM 50. This lets you play with peace of mind without having to monitor every spin manually. When a free spins mode or bonus jackpot is triggered, the auto-spin will pause automatically for a more controlled session at f900.
Make the most of f900's deposit bonus, especially when playing Gong Xi Fa Cai. With a 150% bonus on your first deposit, your starting bankroll can be significantly boosted — giving you more spins and more chances to trigger the progressive jackpot without dipping further into your own pocket. Always remember to play within your comfort limits and enjoy the game responsibly.
